Purposeful teaching begins with understanding how students learn. This programme introduced academic staff to adult learning theories, teaching methods, and instructional strategies relevant to higher education. It explored how learning outcomes can guide effective delivery and encouraged lecturers to reflect on their current practices. Responding to development needs identified through student feedback, the training highlighted the importance of adapting teaching to learners’ needs and a changing technological environment. The programme aimed to support more inclusive learning experiences, strengthen student engagement, and encourage continued improvement in teaching quality across MNU’s academic programmes.
