5th Job Festival “Fahi Furusathu” to be held from 9th to 10th June 2024, between 1600hrs – 18:00 and 20:00hrs- 2200hrs in MNU Central Administration and MNU Campuses.

About MNU Job Festival

To tackle the unemployment rate as well as NEET rate in our country and trying to fill the gap especially by being the Maldives National University (MNU) besides offering courses and training we always try to do things which could support the nation. Therefore, we are trying to provide employability opportunities for our students (recently 900 graduated and approximately more than 2000 students in the final semester) and the public by creating a platform as The MNU Fahi Furusath. This is a new initiative to the next level beside placing our students in various job posts for practicums or internships with the tremendous support from various esteemed employers. The event is to be held as part of an initiative as university social responsibility (USR) under the banner of ‘FURAATHA’.

The main purpose of MNU Fahi Furusath – the job festival is to provide a platform for our students and potential employers to meet and connect talent to fulfill future ready jobs, internships and apprenticeships etc. Our students (and job seekers from the public) could explore the kind of available opportunities with employers and the employers could showcase the enterprises providing students with employment-related information and the latest recruiting trends, etc.
