The Heads Workshop brought together important topics for leading in a changing higher education environment. The programme included a “Way Forward” session led by Dr. Shehenaz and a discussion on “Assessment in the AI Era” with Dr. Fawaz. A governance session facilitated by Shaheen from MNU Business School explored the roles, responsibilities, and good practices of deans. The programme also included sustainability competencies for higher education leaders, led by Dr. Ibrahim and Dr. Shiyama. Together, these sessions aimed to support informed leadership, responsible governance, and greater consideration of sustainability in university planning and decisions.
