MNU Empowers HDh. Makunudhoo School Teachers with Artificial Intelligence Workshop

As part of Professional Development Day at HDh. Makunudhoo School, a session on “Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Teaching and Learning” was conducted for 34 teaching staff. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Mohamed Umar from the Faculty of Education.

The session introduced AI-powered tools that support lesson planning, content creation, personalized learning, and classroom innovation. Discussions also covered ethical considerations, opportunities, and challenges, encouraging educators to adopt technology-enhanced approaches while maintaining effective, student-centered pedagogy.

Teachers appreciated the practical demonstrations and expressed strong interest in integrating AI into their classrooms. The programme successfully enhanced educators’ awareness of emerging technologies, equipping them with practical insights to improve teaching effectiveness, boost student engagement, and navigate the evolving digital educational landscape.
