The Maldivian Red Crescent conducted a First Aid Information Session for staff and FEST students of the MNU Kulhudhuffushi Campus. The session aimed to strengthen awareness of basic first aid principles and emergency response procedures.

Participants received practical guidance on assessing emergency situations, providing immediate assistance and seeking appropriate medical support. The session focused on responding to life-threatening incidents and highlighted the importance of timely intervention.

The programme emphasised preparedness in workplace and community settings, helping participants understand the role they can play in supporting someone during an emergency.

Staff and students valued the opportunity to learn from experienced trainers and reported greater confidence in their ability to respond appropriately to emergencies.

The session supported a safer campus environment by promoting awareness, preparedness and responsibility. It equipped participants with essential knowledge to provide immediate assistance while seeking further medical support.
