Effective blended learning brings classroom and online activities together around clear learning goals. This workshop introduced constructive alignment, showing how learning outcomes, teaching activities, and assessment can work together to support student learning. It also explored the key features of a blended subject at MNU and the use of a purposeful blended design tool for planning subjects. The programme encouraged academic staff to choose activities that serve a clear educational purpose and offer students varied ways to participate. Its focus was on creating coherent learning experiences that support engagement and improve the quality of blended teaching.
