MOU signing ceremony between The Maldives National University and Mahidol University

The Maldives National University (MNU) and Mahidol University have taken a significant step towards fostering academic excellence and research innovations. On January 23rd, 2025, both institutions formalized their partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) during a ceremony that marked the beginning of a promising collaboration. The MOU was signed by Dr. Aishath Shehenaaz Adam, (Vice Chancellor) and (Deputy Vice Chancellor) Dr.Raheema Abdul Raheem of MNU, and professor Mr.Piyamitr Sritara (President) and Nopraenue Sajjarax Dhirathiti (Associate.professor) representing Mahidol University.

The primary purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed today is to initiate and explore research activities between two universities. This collaboration will open exciting opportunities for faculty members and students to engage in meaningful research that addresses both local and global challenges. The agreement reflects the shared vision of the two universities in tackling global issues such as education, development, healthcare, and sustainable innovation.
