Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) conducted an informative session on “Islamic Finance and Financial Literacy” for the staff members of MNU Kulhudhuffushi Campus, facilitated by 4 MIB representatives. The programme aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of Shariah-compliant financial principles and promote informed financial decision-making.

Participants were introduced to core concepts of Islamic banking, ethical financial practices, personal financial management, budgeting, savings, and responsible financial planning. The session offered practical insights into managing personal finances while adhering to Islamic principles for long-term well-being.

Staff valued the opportunity to learn about Shariah-compliant products and financial management, expressing increased confidence in making sound financial choices. The programme successfully improved participants’ financial literacy and strengthened awareness of ethical financial practices.
