The Maldives National University Kulhudhuffushi Campus conducted a career guidance workshop for students from three schools in Kulhudhuffushi. The workshop focused on career opportunities in the Maldivian hospitality sector, helping students explore pathways within one of the country’s most important industries.

The session brought together school students, MNU staff and alumni. Participants were introduced to a range of roles in hospitality and tourism, industry expectations and opportunities for career progression.

The workshop explored the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to succeed in the sector. Students also learned about educational and training pathways that could support their entry into hospitality careers.

By connecting career opportunities with study and training options, the session helped students consider how their educational choices could support their future aspirations. It encouraged them to explore the possibilities available within tourism and hospitality.

Students found the workshop informative and engaging, particularly its insights into real-world career opportunities. Teachers welcomed the initiative as a valuable contribution to students’ career exploration and preparation for employment.
