The Centre for Educational Technology and Excellence (CETE) at The Maldives National University (MNU) announced the EduTech Symposium 2025 on 23 October 2024. Held on 17–18 September 2025 under the theme “Leveraging Education through the Advancement of Technology,” the symposium aimed to promote innovative approaches to technology-enhanced teaching and learning.
The media event raised awareness of the symposium and its objectives, including showcasing best practices, encouraging knowledge-sharing, and promoting collaboration among educators and educational technology professionals.
This initiative contributed to SDG 4: Quality Education by promoting technology-enhanced teaching and learning, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure by highlighting educational innovation, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by encouraging collaboration and knowledge-sharing among education professionals.
