The Maldives National University (MNU) Kulhudhuffushi Campus hosted an information session conducted by the Utility Regulatory Authority (URA) for campus staff. The session aimed to raise awareness of utility services and promote sustainable resource management and environmental responsibility.
Participants learned about URA’s roles and responsibilities, utility services available to the public, and initiatives related to energy conservation, water conservation and waste management.
The session also provided practical guidance on responsible utility usage and sustainable practices that individuals can adopt in their daily lives to reduce resource consumption and protect the environment.
Staff appreciated the insights shared on utility services and environmental sustainability.
The programme increased awareness of responsible resource management and encouraged staff to adopt environmentally friendly practices. It also supported sustainable development by promoting energy and water conservation, effective waste management and greater environmental responsibility within the campus community.
