Final-year Bachelor of Health Service Management students from the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS), The Maldives National University (MNU), completed an industrial placement at the Ministry of Health.
The placement connected their academic programme with the work of a national health-sector institution and provided practical professional exposure.
Experience in a national health institution can help students relate management concepts to the organisation and delivery of health services.
The placement connects SDG 4 (Quality Education) with workplace learning, SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) with professional preparation, and SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) with health-sector management.
