The School of Nursing of the Maldives National University, in collaboration with this campus, has successfully conducted an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training program specifically for the employees of Horizon Fisheries Maldives.

Held on June 6th at the Horizon Fisheries Maandhoo Complex, this training session aimed to highlight the significance of safeguarding lives and health by preventing various workplace hazards. The program primarily focused on maintaining workplace safety and identifying potential risks to enhance situational awareness. Furthermore, essential information was shared regarding the correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), emergency response protocols, and preparedness strategies. The company noted that this training program is a vital step toward improving employee performance and establishing a healthy and safe working environment at Horizon Fisheries.
