The Centre for Maritime Studies (CMS) participated in and hosted engagement activities during the MNU One-Stop Admission Event for Term 2, 2025, held on 21 August 2025. The event provided an important platform for prospective students to explore academic programmes, admission requirements, and career pathways within the maritime sector. CMS representatives engaged with visitors to provide guidance on maritime training opportunities, course structures, and the skills required for a successful career at sea and in the maritime industry. The session aimed to increase awareness of maritime education and encourage youth participation in national capacity-building efforts. Through interactive discussions and information sharing, the event helped future students make informed decisions about their academic journey. It also supported institutional outreach efforts and strengthened CMS’s visibility as a key provider of maritime education in the Maldives, contributing to national goals of skills development and youth empowerment.
