Short Intensive Course in Cleaning Premises Incorporating Workplace Hygiene

The short intensive course was conducted to strengthen participants’ knowledge and practical skills in premises cleaning and workplace hygiene. It covered appropriate cleaning methods, safe use and storage of cleaning products and equipment, personal protective equipment, hand hygiene, infection prevention, waste management, occupational safety, and the maintenance of clean and healthy work environments. Practical demonstrations and hands-on activities enabled participants to apply standard cleaning procedures effectively in different workplace settings.

The course improved participants’ competence and confidence in performing cleaning duties safely, systematically, and effectively. It increased awareness of workplace hygiene, infection prevention, waste management, and occupational safety while promoting the correct use of cleaning products and protective equipment.
