The Maldives National University (MNU) Library has received a collection of 29 books donated by a well-wisher, supporting the Library’s efforts to strengthen its academic resources and provide students with access to additional learning materials.

The donated collection, received on 21 September 2026, includes resources covering medical sciences, physiology, biochemistry, anatomy, histology, clinical examination, and mathematics. The collection features a range of academic and medical reference texts that can support students and academic staff in their teaching, learning, and research.

The donation includes notable titles such as Guyton and Hall Textbook of Medical Physiology, Ganong’s Review of Medical Physiology, Macleod’s Clinical Examination, Clinical Anatomy, Wheater’s Functional Histology, Lippincott’s Illustrated Reviews: Biochemistry, and BD Chaurasia’s Human Anatomy, among other resources.

The MNU Library appreciates the generosity of the well-wisher and the valuable contribution towards enhancing the University’s academic collection. Such donations help expand access to learning resources and strengthen the Library’s support for the academic community.
