On 31 May 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohamed Umar, Senior Lecturer Zahira Mohamed, and Senior Lecturer Ibrahim Mohamed from Maldives National University (MNU) Kulhudhuffushi Campus actively participated in the MNU Fahi Furusathu (Job Festival) 2025, held at the campus in Kulhudhuffushi City.
The event provided an interactive platform for students, graduates, and job seekers to connect with academic staff and explore opportunities for career development, further education, and professional growth. During the festival, the academic staff engaged with participants by sharing information on career pathways, providing academic counselling, and offering guidance on opportunities for professional development.
The initiative helped strengthen the connection between higher education and employment, enabling participants to gain greater awareness of academic pathways and career opportunities relevant to their aspirations and the evolving needs of the labour market.
The participation of MNU Kulhudhuffushi Campus reflects the University’s commitment to quality education, lifelong learning, skills development, and meaningful employment opportunities. By supporting career readiness and connecting learners with relevant guidance and opportunities, the festival also contributed to inclusive access to education and employment and strengthened the role of higher education institutions in supporting local workforce development and sustainable community development.
