The Maldives National University (MNU) Kulhudhuffushi Campus conducted a series of One-Stop Admission visits to eight islands: HDh. Nolhivaram, HDh. Nolhivaranfaru, HDh. Hanimaadhoo, HA. Baarah, HA. Hoarafushi, Sh. Funadhoo, Sh. Foakaidhoo and Sh. Kanditheemu.
The outreach programme provided prospective students with information on academic programmes, admission requirements, application procedures, scholarship opportunities and career pathways available through MNU.
The visits enabled students and community members to receive personalized admission guidance within their own islands, reducing the need to travel to campus. The programme was supported by local councils and schools.
Community members, school representatives and councils appreciated the initiative and the opportunity to access admission services locally.
The programme expanded access to higher education information, encouraged prospective students to explore academic opportunities and strengthened collaboration between MNU, schools, councils and island communities. It also supported inclusive access to quality education and lifelong learning.
