As part of the Maldives National University’s General Orientation 2025, the MNU Library introduced its services, resources, and facilities to approximately 35 students during an orientation session held on 26 August 2025.

The 1 hour session provided students with an overview of the Library and its role in supporting their academic journey. Students were introduced to key Library services, facilities, resources, and procedures, helping them understand how to access and make effective use of the Library throughout their studies.

The orientation aimed to familiarise new students with the Library and encourage them to make use of the academic resources, facilities, and support available throughout their studies.

Through orientation programmes such as this, the MNU Library continues to support students in developing the knowledge and skills needed to access, evaluate, and use information effectively.

The session supported quality education and lifelong learning by helping students produce credible academic work. These skills also prepare students for ethical professional practice and encourage academic integrity. By sharing educational resources and research skills wth students, the library contributed to the exchange of knowledge that supports partnerships for the goals.
