The MNU Fahi Furusathu Job Festival was held from May 22nd to 23rd at the Guraha Hall of Gan Regional Hospital, with the participation of eight organizations. The participating institutions included the Laamu Atoll Council, Laamu Gan Council, Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), Maldives Police Service, Gan Regional Hospital, Horizon Fisheries, Bank of Maldives (BML), and National Career Services.
The festival was officially inaugurated by the Vice President of the Laamu Atoll Council, Ahmed Riyaz, during a special opening ceremony. Visitors to the event were provided with extensive information regarding various employment opportunities, as well as details concerning the academic programs scheduled for The Maldives National University’s August 2025 intake.
Participating institutions appreciated the opportunity to connect directly with local community, while participants found the career information and job opportunities valuable. Increased awareness of employment opportunities, strengthened connections between employers and potential candidates, and supported students and graduates in exploring suitable career pathways.
