The Maldives National University (MNU) celebrated its Graduation Ceremony on the 12th of October 2023 at the prestigious Dharubaaruge, marking a momentous occasion for the 700+ students who successfully completed their academic journey this semester. This year’s ceremony was graced by the presence of the esteemed Chief Justice of the Maldives, Ahmed Muthasim Adnan, who inspired the graduates with his words of wisdom and encouragement.
Over 300 graduates participated in the ceremony, their faces beaming with pride and joy as they donned their caps and gowns, marking the culmination of years of hard work and dedication.
Among the highlights of the event was the recognition of four exceptional students who were honored with the prestigious President’s Award for their outstanding academic achievements. These four students have demonstrated exemplary dedication to their studies and have excelled in their respective fields. The President’s Award recipients for this session are:
- Rakha Mohamed Rasheed – Bachelor of Shariah and Law (Honors)
- Aishath Satheera Mohamed – Master of Laws
- Mohamed Sharufan Shameem – Bachelor of Computer Science
- Mohamed Afrah – Master in Public Health
