The Advanced Training for Oil Tanker Cargo Operations (ATOTCO) Batch 2 included a structured ship visit designed to provide trainees with real-world exposure to oil tanker cargo handling operations. The visit enabled participants to observe operational procedures, safety measures, and cargo management systems used onboard oil tankers. Through direct industry interaction, trainees were able to connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications, strengthening their understanding of tanker operations and maritime safety requirements. The training emphasized safe handling of hazardous cargo, adherence to international regulations, and operational best practices in the oil and gas shipping sector.
