Deputy Vice Chancellor Highlights Power of Knowledge at MNU Graduation

The Maldives National University  held its fourth session of graduation ceremony, where Deputy Vice Chancellor Dr. Ali Fawaz Shareef congratulated graduates and described the occasion as the beginning of a new chapter shaped by resilience and dedication.

Addressing the graduates, Dr. Ali Fawaz Shareef described the occasion as a defining moment—signifying both the successful completion of an academic journey and the beginning of a new chapter. He commended the graduates for their resilience, integrity, and dedication to learning, extending heartfelt congratulations on behalf of the University.

He expressed appreciation to Chief Guest Dr. Ismail Shafeeu for his contributions to advancing education in the Maldives. The ceremony also recognized mace-bearers for their service and highlighted the achievement of Ismail Rahil, the University’s first hearing-impaired graduate at this level.

Dr. Ali Fawaz Shareef emphasized the importance of education as a tool for critical thinking, leadership, and national development, encouraging graduates to apply their knowledge to navigate challenges and contribute meaningfully to society.
