Students of National Certificate III in Phlebotomy was posted in regional/tertiary hospitals for their clinical posting. Ten students who were enrolled in Male’ campus was posted to IGMH. Seven students enrolled in Thinadhoo campus joined ASMH for the clinical posting while twelve students in Kulhudhuffushi campus joined KRH for the clinical posting. During the posting students gained hands-on experience and got the chance to practice the skills they learnt during the class. The posting also helps to foster professionalism in the students and make them ready for professional practice

The clinical placement allowed the students to gain valuable hand on practice on the procedures they learnt. It helped to bridge the classroom learning with professional practice strengthening their skills. It also strengthened the partnership between MNU and the relevant hospitals.
