Awareness Session

Session conducted for Horizon Fisheries Maldives employees on occupational health and safety.

The occupational health and safety session enhanced employees’ awareness of common workplace hazards, including physical, chemical, and biological hazards. Participants gained practical knowledge on preventive measures to reduce occupational risks and promote a safer working environment. The session also strengthened their understanding of correct body mechanics and safe techniques for performing work-related activities, which may help reduce musculoskeletal strain and workplace injuries. Overall, the session encouraged greater responsibility for personal safety and adherence to safe work practices.
