The Maldives National University Kulhudhuffushi Campus, in collaboration with Guruzu, held a Teachers’ Day appreciation event on 7th October 2024 to recognise the dedication and contributions of its lecturers.

The celebration brought together nine MNU staff members, 35 students and 24 lecturers. It provided an opportunity for students and staff to express gratitude to educators for their commitment to teaching, mentoring and supporting students throughout their academic journeys.

Lecturers were acknowledged for their role in shaping students’ academic, personal and professional development. The event highlighted their efforts to inspire students, nurture their abilities and help them achieve their potential.

Educators expressed appreciation for the recognition, while students and staff welcomed the opportunity to honour the positive influence of their teachers. The gathering strengthened connections across the campus community through shared respect and gratitude.

The celebration reinforced a culture of appreciation for educators and supported staff morale and motivation. It reflected MNU Kulhudhuffushi Campus’s recognition of the important role lecturers play in student success and the development of future generations.
