MNU Libraries conducted an APA Referencing Session in Dhivehi on 25 September 2026 for students enrolled in Associate Degree in Nursing and Bachelor of Nursing.

The two-hour session was conducted by Chief Librarian Hussain Haleem and aimed to help students understand and apply APA referencing principles in their academic work. Conducting the session in Dhivehi enabled students to learn about referencing practices in their preferred language.

The session focused on developing students’ understanding of proper referencing and the importance of acknowledging sources in academic assignments. It also supported the development of academic writing skills and the responsible use of information.

A total of 20 students attended the session, reflecting MNU Libraries’ continued commitment to supporting students’ academic development through information literacy and referencing guidance.
