The Maldives National University (MNU) Libraries received a generous donation of 510 academic textbooks from the Ministry of Education on 12 October 2026.

The donation comprised 17 titles, with 30 copies of each title, covering subjects including chemistry, physics and botany. The textbooks enriched the library collections and provided valuable academic resources to support students and lecturers across relevant higher education programmes.

The contribution strengthened access to essential learning materials and supported teaching, learning and academic development within the University community.

MNU Libraries expressed their sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Education for this valuable contribution and its support in strengthening access to academic resources at the University.
