The Maldives National University Kulhudhuffushi Campus successfully held MNU Job Festival 2024, bringing together students, job seekers, employers and community stakeholders to explore employment, internship and career development opportunities.

The festival provided a platform for attendees to connect directly with potential employers, learn about career pathways and gain a better understanding of the skills and competencies required in the workforce.

Nine organisations participated as exhibitors: Kulhudhuffushi City Council, Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital, Maldivian Red Crescent – Kulhudhuffushi City, Maldives Police Service, Maldives National Defence Force, Maldives Transport and Contracting Company Plc, Business Center Corporation, Dhiraagu and Ooredoo Maldives.

Their participation enabled attendees to engage with representatives from diverse sectors and explore potential career options. The event also provided access to information on employment, internships and entrepreneurship support services.

By bringing employers and job seekers together, the festival supported informed career planning and strengthened connections between the campus, industry and the wider community.

The initiative reflected MNU Kulhudhuffushi Campus’s commitment to supporting students’ transition into employment and building partnerships that expand access to career development opportunities.
