MNU Thinadhoo Campus welcomed Advanced Diploma in Nursing students from Malé and MNU Hithadhoo Campus for a field trip from 26 May to 6 June 2024.

During the field trip, students visited key locations in Thinadhoo, including the city council, schools, hospital, restaurants, and homes. They also held meetings with senior staff of Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital and Thinadhoo City Council.

The field trip provided students with practical exposure to community health, local services, and real-life healthcare contexts. It promoted experiential learning, public health awareness, community engagement, and professional development.

By connecting students with community institutions, the programme strengthened nursing education and supported practical learning linked to community health needs.
