Entrepreneurs Confluence 2025, a student-led initiative by the Business School Students Association (BSSA), brought together students, academics, entrepreneurs, business owners and industry professionals to foster entrepreneurship, innovation and stronger industry links.
Held on the 1st of August 2025, the event provided opportunities for students to engage directly with the world of work, while vendors connected with new audiences and explored potential business opportunities.. Through panel discussions, workshops, masterclasses, networking activities and a vendor showcase, participants gained practical insights into entrepreneurship, digital business and creative enterprise, supporting quality education and lifelong learning beyond the classroom.
By strengthening research-industry collaboration, promoting innovation and creating opportunities for collaboration with companies and the private sector, Entrepreneurs Confluence 2025 contributed to stronger partnerships between higher education and the wider entrepreneurial community.
Through experiential learning and collaboration, Entrepreneurs Confluence 2025 contributed to SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. The initiative also established a replicable model for future student-led industry engagement activities.
