The session also highlighted key aspects of information evaluation, including assessing the credibility, accuracy, relevance, and currency of information. Students were guided on how to distinguish reliable academic sources and make informed choices when selecting information for their research.
Through practical examples and search exercises, participants had the opportunity to apply the techniques discussed and strengthen their confidence in conducting effective literature searches and evaluating information.
The session aimed to enhance students’ information literacy and research skills, supporting them in producing well-informed and academically credible research work.
