GPPS Point prevalence training(Online) - in-patient module

Global Point Prevalence Suvery-Inpatient moculde training webinar session was conducted under the project SCALE(Stregnthening health care workforce capacity through global learning). An ongoing project is a partnership between NHS Northumbria and MNU to stregnthen the surveillance of Antimicrobial Resistance(AMR) and achieving reduced hospital acquired infections and antimicrobial stewarship in selected Regional Hospitals of Maldives.

Participants were introduced to the Global Point Prevalence Survey(GPPS) tool – Inpatient module protocol. The webinar session was hosted by The GPPS team of University of Antewarp, Belgium. It help enhance the skills and knowledge in the participants on how to use the web-based tool to gauge data antimicrobial precribing, resistance and healthcare associated infections in-patients. The project is aligned with strategic objective, 4 5 & 6 of the National Action Plan on Antimicrobial Resistance(NAP-AMR)- 2024-2029.
