As part of the ongoing collaboration between The Maldives National University (MNU) and the Maldives Police Service, Dr Athaulla A Rasheed, Dean of the School of Security and Strategic Studies (SSSS), delivered a professional development lecture for National College of Policing and Law Enforcement (NCPLE) officers in Gan under MNU’s CSR. Security‑related lectures of this nature strengthen collaboration between academic and operational institutions, enhance global cooperation on emerging governance and security challenges, and promote multi‑stakeholder partnerships across the Maldives. By supporting continuous learning and informed dialogue, SSSS contributes to building strong institutions across the nation and advancing evidence‑based security education, reinforcing its role in national capacity‑building and professional development.
