The Maldives National University has officially inaugurated “MNU Fahi Furusath 2026″ today at its main campus in Malé and across various regional campuses, providing a valuable platform for graduates, job seekers, and the wider community to connect with employers and explore career opportunities.

The event was officially opened by the Chancellor of the Maldives National University, Dr. Mahamood Shougee, during a ceremony held at the MNU Administrative Building. The festival will run from 3rd to 5th June 2026.

This year’s festival features 32 participating organizations, including government institutions, state-owned enterprises, and leading private-sector companies. Visitors have the opportunity to learn about current job vacancies, internship opportunities, and career pathways while receiving professional career guidance from industry representatives.

The event is being held daily at the MNU central Administrative Building from 16:00 to 22:00. Continuing the tradition of previous years, the festival is also taking place simultaneously at MNU’s regional campuses across the atolls on 3 and 4 June, ensuring greater access to employment pathways and career guidence for communities beyond Malé.

MNU Fahi Furusath serves as an important bridge between employers and skilled youth, bringing together education, industry, and aspiring professionals under one roof. Through networking opportunities, career guidence, and direct engagement with recruiters, the event aims to support workforce development and help individuals take the next step in their professional journeys.

The Maldives National University remains committed to fostering meaningful connections between graduates, students, and industry partners while contributing to national development through education, innovation, and employment opportunities.
