The Centre for Educational Technology and Excellence (CETE) conducted a professional development training session titled “Teaching Across Modalities: Understanding Blended, Hybrid, Online & HyFlex” on 17 November 2025. The session was delivered in hybrid mode and facilitated by Instructional Designer Ibrahim Adam, with 13 academic staff members participating.
The training introduced participants to different teaching modalities, highlighting their characteristics and applications in higher education. It aimed to strengthen academic staff’s understanding of blended, hybrid, online, and HyFlex learning approaches to support the effective design and delivery of teaching and learning experiences.
