Students from the School of Medicine, The Maldives National University, participated in a Community Health Awareness Campaign in Haa Dhaalu Atoll aimed at promoting public health education and encouraging healthy lifestyle practices.
The campaign engaged community members through interactive health education sessions, basic health screenings, and outreach activities focused on disease prevention, health promotion, and personal well-being.
 
The initiative provided medical students with practical experience in community-based healthcare while strengthening their communication, health education, and public engagement skills. By working directly with local communities, students gained a deeper understanding of population health needs and the importance of preventive healthcare.
