A stakeholder consultation was held to review the Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety programme in response to low enrolment and workforce needs. Representatives from major employers, including STELCO, MACL, HDC, MNDF, and Maldives Police Service, provided feedback on training requirements and preferred delivery formats. Stakeholders recommended shorter and more flexible pathways such as certificates, diplomas, and advanced diplomas to support in-service staff development. The meeting supports SDG 3, SDG 4, SDG 8, and SDG 17.
