Specialised Course Validation Workshop
The Specialised Course Validation Workshop was conducted to critically review and validate the proposed course curriculum before its implementation. The workshop brought together academic staff, subject experts, healthcare professionals, and relevant stakeholders to evaluate the course structure, learning outcomes, content, teaching and learning strategies, assessments, clinical requirements, resources, and alignment with professional and regulatory standards. Feedback and recommendations were gathered to ensure that the course is relevant, feasible, evidence-based, and responsive to workforce and healthcare needs.
The workshop strengthened the quality, relevance, and credibility of the specialised course by ensuring that it meets academic, professional, regulatory, and healthcare requirements. Stakeholder input helped identify gaps, improve course content and assessment methods, and ensure that graduates develop the competencies required for specialised practice. The activity also promoted shared ownership, transparency, collaboration, and continuous quality improvement in curriculum development.
