This workshop explored practical ways for academic staff to use AI in their everyday work. Facilitated by Mohamed Jailam, Chief of Javaabu Academy, it introduced basic AI and automation concepts, with a focus on improving communication and reducing time spent on repetitive tasks. The programme also explored how free AI tools can support productivity and help staff manage their time more effectively. An introduction to Dhivehi GPT highlighted opportunities to use AI for local language tasks. The session encouraged continued exploration, with one month of free Dhivehi GPT access offered to participants who completed the workshop.
