The Maldives National University Business School (MNUBS), in collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering, Science and Technology (FEST) and the MNU College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences, delivered a career guidance session for Grade 8 students at Iskandhar School.
Led by Ms. Aishath Shaheen, Dean of MNUBS; alongside Mr. Adam Khalid, Dean of FEST; Dr. Ahmed Riyaz Jauharee, Dean of the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences; and Dr. Ahmed Inaz, Senior Lecturer and Assistant Professor at MNU, the session provided students with useful insights to guide them in choosing their streams of study and future professions, offering early exposure to the diverse academic and career pathways available through higher education.
This initiative supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by supporting students in making informed decisions about their education and future careers, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by bringing together multiple faculties and a local school to advance shared educational goals.
MNUBS extends gratitude to Iskandhar School for the opportunity to engage with its Grade 8 students, and acknowledges the collaboration of FEST and the College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences in making the session a success.
