All research activities conducted under the Maldives National University must uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct. This includes safeguarding the dignity, rights, health, safety, and privacy of all individuals involved in the research. The University requires all staff, students, and third parties to strictly adhere to established ethical principles throughout the research process. Any research involving human participants, sensitive data, or university premises must undergo ethical review and approval. All research ethics applications must be addressed to the Research Ethics Secretariat and submitted via email to research@mnu.edu.mv.
