The second session of the Professional Development (PD) Programme was held on 7 December 2024, focusing on the theme “Empowering Educators with Generative AI.” The session was facilitated by Mr. Mohamed Shareef from Oxiqa and aimed to introduce academic staff to the potential applications of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education.
The session explored how emerging AI technologies can support teaching, learning, and academic practice. Participants had the opportunity to enhance their understanding of Generative AI tools and their practical applications within educational settings. The session also encouraged educators to consider innovative approaches to integrating AI into their professional practices to improve teaching effectiveness, support student learning, and enhance productivity.
