We are delighted to announce and congratulate our senior lecturer, Ms. Aishath Leeza, for securing second place in the PhD Research Showcase Competition 2025.

The competition, organized by the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science (SLAAS) in collaboration with the British Council, was held on December 11th at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. The event provided a prestigious international platform for PhD students to present their research and engage with scholars.

Special thanks are extended to Ms. Leeza’s supervising professors, Professor Shamala Kumar and Professor Sarath S Kodithuwakku from the University of Peradeniya, for their invaluable support and guidance.
