The Maldives National University (MNU) conducted its Term 1, 2026 General Orientation Programme at the Central Administration auditoriums, livestreaming sessions to regional campuses to ensure equal orientation access for all new entrants.

Students were introduced to university life through sessions on academic advising, counseling, disability services, and Moodle navigation. MNUSU inspired active participation through campus leadership roles, while the MNU Library emphasized research ethics and information literacy. Addressing personal safety outside the classroom, the Maldives Police Service Traffic Department delivered a specialized road safety awareness session focused on responsible road use and pedestrian safety.
