Students of the Maldives National University (MNU) Kulhudhuffushi Campus marked Immunization Day by designing and developing educational posters to raise awareness about the importance of vaccination and its role in protecting individual and public health.

The initiative aimed to highlight the life-saving benefits of immunization, promote accurate health information, and encourage informed decisions about vaccination. Through creative designs and informative messages, students emphasized the importance of immunization in preventing vaccine-preventable diseases and safeguarding communities.

The activity provided students with an opportunity to apply their health education knowledge in a practical setting while developing their communication and health promotion skills.

Students reported gaining a deeper understanding of the role of immunization in disease prevention and public health.

The initiative contributed to strengthening awareness of preventive healthcare and promoting positive attitudes towards vaccination within the campus and wider community. It also highlighted the importance of public education and collective responsibility in protecting community health.
