The Maldives National University (MNU) successfully hosted the “Fahi Furushathu” Job Festival on 23 May at the MNU Thinadhoo Campus.
Held under the theme “Fahi Furushathu” (Enabling Opportunities), the festival served as a dedicated job market to connect university graduates and job seekers with potential employers in Thinadhoo City. The event provided a central platform for sharing information on employment opportunities available across the region, supporting career development and strengthening links between institutions and the community.
Participating institutions shared details on current job vacancies as well as anticipated openings later in the year. In addition to vacancy information, attendees benefited from career guidance and learned more about the public services offered by the participating organisations.
Institutions participating in the festival included Villa Air Kaadedhdhoo Airport, Dr. Abdul Samad Memorial Hospital, Vital Care Huvadhoo, Tibyan Tarbiyya Centre, Thinadhoo City Council, Asrafee Bookshop, VEET Association (Jamiyya), WAMCO, Bank of Maldives (BML), Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), and the Maldives National University (MNU).
MNU extends sincere appreciation to all participating institutions and community members for contributing to the success of this meaningful initiative aimed at enabling opportunities for job seekers in Thinadhoo City.
