The Maldives National University (MNU) conducted a curriculum development workshop for the National College of Policing and Law Enforcement (NCPLE) on 17 October 2026, with 35 participants attending the session. Participants joined both in person and online, including colleagues from NCPLE’s Addu Campus and Vaani Campus.
The workshop provided an opportunity for participants to strengthen their understanding of effective curriculum development and quality assurance practices. Participant feedback was very positive, reflecting the value of the session in supporting professional learning and institutional capacity development.
The initiative reflects MNU’s mission to create, preserve and disseminate knowledge that enhances people’s lives and livelihoods and contributes to national social and economic development. It also supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) through professional learning, SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions) through capacity-building in the policing and law enforcement sector, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through collaboration and knowledge-sharing between higher education and professional training institutions.
Through such initiatives, MNU continues to strengthen educational quality, institutional collaboration and its contribution to sustainable development and national priorities.
