The activity promoted gender equality and digital inclusion by encouraging the participation of girls and women in ICT and Artificial Intelligence. It provided knowledge-sharing, hands-on AI learning, networking opportunities, and discussions on women’s contributions to the ICT sector, helping build digital skills and fostering inclusive technological development.

Participants actively engaged in discussions and hands-on AI activities. Male students shared positive perspectives on the role and impact of women in the ICT industry, demonstrating appreciation for women’s contributions to technology. The networking session was well received, allowing students and graduates to reconnect and exchange experiences.

The activity aligns primarily with SDG 5 – Gender Equality by encouraging the participation and empowerment of girls and women in ICT and Artificial Intelligence and highlighting women’s contributions to the technology sector. It also supports SDG 4 – Quality Education through knowledge-sharing, hands-on AI learning, and digital skills development. In addition, the activity contributes to SDG 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure by promoting AI, innovation, and inclusive participation in the ICT sector, while supporting SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities by fostering digital inclusion and creating opportunities for diverse participants to engage in technology and networking. Furthermore, the networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities contribute to SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals by strengthening connections among students, graduates, professionals, and other stakeholders, encouraging collaboration and the exchange of knowledge and experiences to support inclusive digital development.
