On 06th August 2025, Academic staff from the Faculty of Education (FE) participated in the “Course Development and Review Processes Workshop” organised by the Training Development Unit at The Maldives National University (MNU).

The workshop focused on institutional curriculum standards, systematic course review processes, alignment of learning outcomes, and quality assurance practices. The session provided academic staff with valuable insights into strengthening course design and ensuring that educational programmes remain relevant, coherent, and aligned with institutional standards.

The participation of FE academic staff reflects the Faculty’s commitment to continuous academic improvement, quality assurance, and the development of relevant and well-structured educational programmes.

The initiative contributed to SDG 4: Quality Education by strengthening academic practices and supporting quality curriculum development; SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure by promoting systematic and innovative approaches to programme and course development; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through professional collaboration and knowledge sharing within the university community.
